How to set up a Centova Cast v3 server with Auto DJ Print

  1. With Centova Cast v3 control panel it is not required to upload through ftp. You can now use the control panel to upload media to your server.
    • Log in to your control panel.
  2. Once loged in if you want to use the Auto DJ you will need to set it up before starting your server.If Your Auto DJ is not enabled you will not see the Auto DJ options listed in the menu.
    • Click on the Settings link. It is located in the menu options on the left. You will see the word Settings in the Configuration group.
    • Click on the Auto DJ tab. You will see it in the group of tabs in the center of the page.
    • Change AutoDJ status: from Disabled to Enabled.
    • Click the Update button. It is at the bottom of the settings window.
    • If you don't see the Auto DJ options in the menu section reload the page.
  3. Upload your media files.
    • Click on the Files link. It is located in the Auto DJ group of links.
    • Click the Media folder on the left. The Media Folder is for songs you wish to add to your Auto DJ Playlists.
        You may make as many subfolders as you like
    • Click the Upload button. It is located at the bottom, center of the page.
    • Click the Select Files button and navigate to your media files.You may select more than one file at a time by holding down Ctrl and clicking multiple files.
    • The On Demand Folder is for songs that you wish to be available in your On-Demand Widget.
    • Click the Return button to go back to the main screen.
  4. Add song to your playlists.
    • Click on an artist in the first window. You will then see all the albums by that artist listed in the window on the right.
    • Click on an album in the second window. You will then see all the tracks from the selected albums listed in the window on the bottom.
    • Drag and drop the media files into the playlists on the left.
        You must have at least on song in the Standard Rotation playlist! You may drag and drop full album and artist folders as well.
    • Click the Return button to go back to the main screen.
  5. Start your server.
    • Click the Start link in the Server options.
