How do I change the password to my Centova Cast V2 Server?

Centova Cast v2 Servers have 2 passwords. The Source(DJ) Password is the password used by broadcaster when they start the encoder. This ensures that they are allowed to broadcast on your server. The second password is the Administrator(Admin) Password. This password is used to login to your Centovacast Control v2 Panel. This password should be given to only key people within your staff. Below are step-by-step instructions on how to change both.

How to change your Centova Cast v2 Source(DJ) Password:

Once you have successfully logged into your Centova Cast Control Panel:

1. Click on the Configure Server link.

*Located in the Management Group.

2.Type the new password in the Source password text box.

*Password are not shown as you enter the correct password.

3.Click the update button.

4.Restart the server.

You must restart the server before the password change takes effect.

How to change your Centova Cast v 2 Administrator(Admin) password:

Once you have successfully logged into your Centova Cast Control Panel:

1. Click on the Configure Server link.

*Located in the Management Group.

2.Type the new password in the Administrator password text box.

*Password are not shown as you enter the correct password.

3.Click the update button.

*Once you click the update button you will get an Invalid Password warning.

4.Log out of the Centova Cast Control Panel.

*If you are on the Invalid Password page refresh your browser and you will be able to log out.

5.Log in to the Centova Cast Control Panel.

*Be sure to use the new password.

6.Restart the server.

You must restart the server before the password change takes effect.
